Secure Voting Systems for Any Type of Vote

We protect voters' rights and privacy. Our independent voting service offers a transparent and fair voting process from small to large organisations with diligence and compliance.

Majoritarian / Majority

Majoritarian voting is a system in which candidates have to receive a majority of the votes to be elected, although in some cases only a plurality is required in the last round of counting if no candidate can achieve a majority.

First-past-the-post / Plurality

The first-past-the-post (FPTP) system is also known as the simple majority system. In this voting method, the candidate with the highest number of votes in a constituency is declared the winner.

Robson Rotation

With the Robson rotation system, voters wishing to vote for particular candidates must be aware that the order of candidates' names printed on each ballot paper might be different from any order they may have seen on a sample ballot paper or published list of candidates.

Manage your voting before the AGM to ensure that those who are not present on the day can have the opportunity to vote. This data is automatically rolled into the AGM votes the same day.

Multiple votes per ballot (also known as weighted voting) is a way of allowing one person to have more influence on an election.

Vote splitting is an electoral effect in which the distribution of votes among multiple similar candidates reduces the chance of winning for any of the similar candidates, and increases the chance of winning for a dissimilar candidate.

It’s the use of ranked ballots with specific counting methods: either instant-runoff voting for single-winner elections or single transferable vote for multi-winner elections.

The term preferential refers to the voter being required to indicate an order of preference for candidates on the ballot paper.

Proportional Representation (PR)

Proportional representation systems are used for elections in multi-member electorates to elect candidates who receive a set proportion of the vote. In Australia, these systems are classified into two categories – List Systems and Single Transferable Vote (STV).
